Kickstart My Kart is rules for a video-gamey chase scene, using a single page of plain-language instructions. It is made to be easily insertable into any TTRPGs as an exciting change of pace. Kickstart your game by using the vehicles of your setting, or whichever are physically available. 

Whenever you roll dice when doing an action like attacking, throwing an object, or defending, you roll a number of six-sided dice equal to how fast everyone is currently driving

Inside are 6 short sets of rules:  

  • Rolling Combat Dice, how to interpret 'd6s' whenever attacking, defending, or rolling for the current Speed each round. 
  • Rounds and Turns, detailing the order of a round and model turn progression.
  • Actions, which include Move, Ram, Melee Smash, and Ranged Throw.
  • Bonus Effects, like invulnerable Stunt-Jumps, and Stagger so models can't Move. 
  • Terrain Hazards, for where and when Debris and Ramps automatically appear.
  • Spawning Enemies, and the minimum number of enemies on the board.

All revenue from this project goes towards making more games, including modular minigames like this, along with my main RPG project, Crystal Quest. 

This project shall eventually include advanced rules for playing along to any similarly named/themed rock songs, with bonuses during different parts of the songs.
